Cloud Cover Sensor - PCCD
Measure the Cloud Cover Factor (CCF) for accurate sky condition monitoring in solar power plants.
Why Choose Cloud Cover Sensor - PCCD?
The SuryaLogix Cloud Cover Sensor (PCCD) is designed to measure the Cloud Cover Factor (CCF) for accurate sky condition monitoring in solar power plants, weather stations, and environmental monitoring systems. The sensor provides 24×7 continuous cloud observation, helping improve solar generation analysis, forecasting accuracy, and overall monitoring performance.
The sensor uses dual sensing technology, where the daytime unit observes the sky using optical measurement, and the nighttime unit uses thermal infrared sensing to detect cloud presence. An inbuilt microcontroller processes the signals and provides stable output for reliable monitoring.
With rugged outdoor construction and multiple communication options, the Cloud Cover Sensor can be easily integrated with SuryaLogix Weather Monitoring System, SCADA, RMS, and EMS platforms.
